How many people of Hovestadt know that, the image they see on the “crucified” every Sunday, is not really Jesus Christ?
This is an artwork by NS sculptor Bernhard Graf Plettenberg, the author of Siegfried and Kriemhild statues on the “Nibelungenbrücke” in Linz an der Donau
The race and ethnicity of Jesus is much disputed, and as trivial as it may seem, it is doubtful that he would have such facial features as seen on the crucifix anyway.
